Eve Shaw is half of the music group, FLASHPOINT DUO with her husband, Neil. They have played music around our area for many years and Neil will once again be providing music and equipment for our upcoming Seafood Festival in the City Park. The couple has participated in many benefits for many people over the years.


Eve has undergone surgery for stage 3 breast cancer and is awaiting chemotherapy treatments.


We can help by sending donations to Brannen Bank, Homosassa Springs at 4325 South Suncoast Boulevard, Homosassa, Florida, 34446, phone (352)628-3812. Her account name is "Friends of Blues Help Eve Shaw". Online, on Neil Shaw`s Facebook page, you will find, "For The Love of Eve" which ends November 2, 2011. You can give a donation toward Eve`s care via Give Forward.com.


There will also be a Breast Cancer Poker Run/Benefit/Concert for Eve Shaw Saturday, November 19 from 11am. to 10pm. at Castaways in Crystal River. Kathy Jo and Bluzification Band and Past Tense will be playing music.

Friends of Blues, Inc. http://www.ncfblues.com has many events and benefits including a Blues music show on the first Saturday each month. Blues - Bar- B Que benefitting Hospice will be Saturday, November 5, 2011, behind Museum Cafe, 10466 West Yulee Drive, Old Homosassa, Florida.
