Rare Moth Seen in Cedar Key

Gainesville photographer Maralee Joos was visiting Cedar Key on the 19th when she saw an exotic-looking Sunset Moth. She snapped its picture and posted it online. She later discovered that it was only the second ever recorded in the State of Florida - the first was at Ft. Walton Beach in 1973 - and only the 26th occurrence for the entire United States; apart from the two Florida records, the rest were all in Texas. You can see Maralee`s photo here:
