SPREAD THE WORD: SATURDAY IS HALLOWEEN IN DOWNTOWN CEDAR KEY; NO TRICK-OR-TREATING ON MONDAY!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Although there may be house-to-house trick-or-treating elsewhere in town as well, most of Cedar Key`s candy and costumes will be downtown on 2nd Street this Saturday evening, October 29, between the hours of 6 and 10, when the Cedar Key Police Department will close 2nd Street from "B" and "D" Streets to vehicular traffic for the annual Halloween street party.

Traditionally, Cedar Key citizens join 2nd Street merchants in providing treats during the downtown event. This year, the Chamber of Commerce building will be decorated for the occasion, and once again Lightning`s Spook House will be up and running at the corner of "C" Street.

Come and enjoy the spirits of Halloween on Second Street as Lightning`s Spook House enjoys its 5th season, with no gore or guts.

Sponsors or volunteers should contact Lightning at 352-477-0131.
