Refuge Night: Meet the People, Programs, and Plans | Refuge Night: Meet the People, Programs, and PlansANNOUNCEMENT Refuge Night: Meet the People, Programs, and Plans Thursday January 26, 2012 5:00 PM Cedar Key Public Library The Lower Suwannee and Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuges will host a community discussion at the Cedar Key Public Library. Recently a new Manager, Deputy Manager, and a Wildlife Officer joined the Refuges. The community of Cedar Key will have an opportunity to learn of the Refuges` current and planned programs and projects, and interact with members of the staff representing the various programs. Refuge programs that will be presented include visitor services and recreational activities, forestry and habitat restoration, prescribed fire management, law enforcement, education, landscape conservation, and community interactions. Please come and take part. Everyone is welcome. The event is cosponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Friends of the Refuges. |
