STRAY & FERAL CAT SPAY-NEUTER WORKSHOP PLANNED IN OTTER CREEK

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Sheltering Hands Community Cat
Program has been awarded a $25,000 grant by
PetSmart Charities to tackle the stray and feral
cat colonies located in Levy and Marion Counties.

A workshop to identify and register the
most needy stray and feral cat colonies within
Levy County will be held on Saturday, January
28, 2012 at the Otter Creek Town Hall, SW 2nd
Street starting at 1:00 p.m.

The cat breeding season is rapidly
approaching and the volunteers at Sheltering
Hands Cat Rescue want to implement the spay
and neuter program as soon as possible so little
critters like the ones in the picture will not have
to wonder about their fate.


You will not be asked to adopt animals, but we do need
help locating the cat colonies. All interested persons are encouraged to attend and there is no charge or pre-registration for the workshop. For more information, please call (352) 509-5228.
