Collecting Used Ink Jet Cartridges and Cell Phones

Doreen and Oliver Bauer

In an ongoing supportive effort to save our landfills and reduce the amount of recyclable waste entering them the Faraway Inn is collecting used ink jet cartridges and used cell phones. After we have accumulated a good size box full we will mail them to www.Phoneraiser.com. In return we will receive a check made out to the 501c organization of choice. The recipient of the next check will be Cedar Key School. We will post the check amount in a community announcement.

Please drop off your used ink jet cartridges and cell phones at Faraway Inn located at the corner of Third and G Street - Cedar Key.

We welcome our island visitors to drop off their used ink jet cartridges and used cell phones. We have several Faraway Inn guests who collected them from friends, family and co-workers and bring them to us when visiting Cedar Key. Spread the word to everyone you know and support recycling and our local Cedar Key School.
