A Sweet Tradition Continues...

A Sweet Tradition Continues...

Joan Selby

For many years, the Cedar Key Woman`s Club has offered to bake for restaurants over Festival weekends. This offers a service to our Island hosts over three extremely busy days when thousands of visitors come to Cedar Key and the donations for "Festival Cakes" help our community. The CKWC supports the community with donations to the School, to our Library, the Food Pantry, the Seniors` lunches and other Cedar Key charitable projects.

The past few years the Woman`s Club has extended this service for private household orders too and the community responded! A large homemade cake may be ordered as well as other dessert items. You can request a delicious dessert and support our community by calling 352-543-0909 anytime up to Festival weekend.
