SAWGRASS CLUB of Cedar Key!

SAWGRASS CLUB of Cedar Key!

Eileen Senecal

The Sawgrass Club of Cedar Key recently donated $200 and lots of needed items for the Cedar Key Food Pantry. Sawgrass is a social club with many full time and part time residents participating in fundraising events, card and game playing, and just getting together for a fun evening of what else?----Good food and friendship!

Marty Healy, the volunteer coordinator of the C.K. Food Pantry, said that recently the pantry is providing food and paper goods and hygiene products to as many as 48 families per week. Eileen Senecal, a Sawgrass member and originator of the fundraising for the Food Pantry, delivered the "goods" to Marty. The club`s mission is to GIVE A HELPING HAND to the community! The next outreach will be to collect school supplies for the Cedar Key School.
