Joe Biden in Ocala

Joe Biden in Ocala

Amy Gernhardt

Thousands of people thronged to an outdoor event Wednesday, October 31 at the Discovery Center at the Tuscawilla Park in Ocala.

Although many had to wait in line almost two hours to attend the event, spirits were high as Joe Biden, VP took the stage at an Organizing For America event.

The Vice President appealed to voters who had not yet been to the polls, urging the base to get out and vote.

His speech included appeals to middle class Americans who, he stressed, are the most economically challenged by upper class tax cuts.

The grassroots attendees were largely from Marion County, but Levy County people attended, as well.
