Arts Center to Initiate Salon

Cedar Key Arts Center

The workshop/class committee at the Cedar Key Arts Center has come up with something new that we hope you will enjoy. We are going to start a "Salon." The idea is to bring together artists and draftspeople for stimulating conversation and constructive critiques in a friendly, relaxed environment.

The salon will be open to all media and to all levels of development. We suggest that you bring a piece of your work to share with the group and offer it for constructive critique.

The first Salon meeting will be Sunday, November 1 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The plan is to meet every first and third Sunday of the month.

Benefits:
1. Get to know other artists.
2. Use others` experience and expertise to get past a problem in your work.
3. Share ideas.
4. Have a good time.
5. Learn.
6. Make friends.
7. Become better artists.

Call Libby Cagle if you have questions, 352-543-5232. Hope to see you there.
