Youth Song writing Workshop at the Bronson Public Library

May 30th - Trevis Prince`s Youth Hit Songwriting Workshop

It is a free 1-day workshop. Students will be introduced to fundamental techniques behind today`s hit songs with easy and FUN to follow exercises. The Songwriting Workshop offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of songwriting at any level. The Friends of the Bronson Public Library will be providing free pizza and drinks after the workshop. Seats are limited so please call the library to reserve your spot today!

You will be introduced to:
Basic melody structure & pattern
Tempo
Music Measure
Rhythm
Timing
Songwriting structure & patterns
Lyric choice
Creative thinking
Music History

Age Range:
Suggested for middle school and high school students, but ambitious and focused elementary school students are welcome.
