CRA Meeting
March 2, 2004 Present: Chair Ken Daniel, Members Cecil Quates, Paul Oliver, Sue Colson, Heath Davis Also City Attorney David Coffey, City Clerk Frances Hodges, Building Official Mickey Wieland, and LPA Chair Greg Lang 1. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance Chair Daniel opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a Prayer from Member Heath Davis.
2. Roll Call Chair Daniel called the roll - all present
3. Minutes of January 27, 2004 MOTION MADE BY MEMBER HEATH DAVIS TO ADOPT THE MINUTES OF JANUARY 27, 2004 AND TO DISPENSE WITH THE READING. SECONDED BY MEMBER PAUL OLIVER. MOTION CARRIED.
4. CRA Update LPA Chair Greg Lang said he is preparing for the next meeting with a number of items to present. The LPA is on task and within the time line they set. He thanked the Commission members for their efforts to move through the hiring process quickly. They now have a consultant, Civic
Design Associates. He has already been in contact with them and is setting up a meeting to take place in 2-3 weeks.
5. CRA Budget Amendment for Approval Member Heath Davis reviewed the last City commission action to complete the Library. They will use $9,000 from the Library Budget and requested $21,000 from unencumbered funds from the CRA fund be dedicated to completing the Library MOTION MADE BY MEMBER SUE COLSON TO USE $21,000 FROM THE CRA UNENCUMBERED FUNDS TO COMPLETE THE LIBRARY. SECONDED BY MEMBER HEATH DAVIS. MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
6. Adjournment MOTION MADE BY MEMBER HEATH DAVIS TO ADJOURN. SECONDED BY MEMBER SUE COLSON. MOTION CARRIED. The meeting was adjourned at 7:04 p.m. |
