Dock Street Sidewalk Construction Begins

ANNOUNCEMENT

City of Cedar Key

ATTENTION

NEW, WIDER SIDEWALKS ARE BEING INSTALLED ON BOTH SIDES OF DOCK STREET. WHEN COMPLETE, THE SIDEWALKS WILL PROVIDE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE SPACE FOR PEDESTRIANS. YOUR COOPERATION IS NEEDED TO INSURE RAPID COMPLETION OF THIS VERY IMPORTANT PROJECT.

PHASE I OF THIS PROJECT WILL BEGIN TUESDAY MORNING, JUNE 1ST. THIS PHASE INCLUDES THE SIDEWALK ON THE INSIDE (MARINA SIDE) OF DOCK STREET AS INDICATED IN THE ILLUSTRATION BELOW.

ON MONDAY NIGHT, MAY 31sT, THE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT WILL SET UP BARRICADES TO PREVENT PARKING ALONG THE INSIDE OF DOCK STREET. PLEASE HELP US COMPLETE THIS IMPORTANT PROJECT BY MAKING SURE THERE ARE NO VEHICLES PARKED ALONG THE INSIDE OF DOCK STREET BEGINNING MONDAY EVENING AFTER 9 PM UNTIL THE PROJECT IS COMPLETED WHICH IS ESTIMATED TO BE JUNE 4TH.

VEHICLES LEFT PARKED ALONG THE INSIDE OF DOCK STREET DURING TIS CONSTRUCTION PERIOD MAY BE TOWED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE.
