Notice is hereby given that a Quasi-Judicial Hearing will be conducted by the City Commission meeting as the local Planning Agency, on Tuesday JULY 6, 2004, at 7:00 PM, in the City Hall at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida to hear and act upon a request for a variance in accordance with the requirements of Section 10.03.00, Chapter 4, Laws of Cedar Key.
Petitioners are requesting a variance from the termination of non-conformance requirements contained in Section 10.03.03, Chapter 4, Laws of Cedar Key. The variance request is TO ALLOW FURTHER ENCROACHMENT OF THE PROTECTED ZONE.WITH OPEN PORCH DECKS BUILT UPON PILINGS.
All interested persons are urged to attend this Hearing. Comments may be forwarded to the City of Cedar Key, Post Office Box 339, Cedar Key, Florida 32625, or bring them to the office of the City Clerk at City Hall in Cedar Key, Florida.
If any person decides to appeal the decision of the Commission acting as the Planning Agency with respect to any matter considered at said Public Hearing, he will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the Appeal is to be based.
