COMMUNITY SPECIAL NEEDS LIST UPDATE IN PROGRESS

The Cedar Key Volunteer Fire Department along with the City of Cedar Key is currently updating the working list of persons with special needs in the event of a local emergency.

The list consists of those who would need immediate attention for medical equipment electricity during a power outage, those with no available transportation to comply with a mandatory island evacuation, and any disabled, ill or elderly citizens who would need assistance in their evacuation.

If you or someone you care for would like to be included or removed from the Special Needs List during this update, please contact Janet at the Cedar Key City Hall, at 543-5132.
