NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE ENACTMENT

Notice of proposed ordinance enactment on Tuesday, September 7, 2004
at 7 p.m. in the City Hall at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida, the City
Commission of Cedar Key will hold a PUBLIC HEARING to consider
FINAL adoption of an Ordinance entitled:

ORDINANCE NUMBER 376


AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.01.00,
ARTICLE 3, CHAPTER 2, LAWS OF CEDAR KEY,
DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO DEPARTMENT
ADMINISTRATORS, DIRECTORS AND CHIEFS TO
RETAIN AND TERMINATE EMPLOYEES;
ADDING SECTION 1.06.00. ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER
2, LAWS OF CEDAR KEY, PROVIDING FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF DEPARTMENTS;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

If any person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with
respect to any matter considered at said PUBLIC HEAING, he/she will need
to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the
testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
