Historic Preservation/Architectural Review Board Announces Opening for Citizen Volunteer

The City of Cedar Key is seeking applications for a position on the Historic Preservation/Architectural Review Board. The City Commission shall appoint a citizen volunteer member representing two (2) or more of the following areas of expertise: A) Architecture, Engineering or Building Industry; B) Urban Planning, Law, History or Real Estate.

The Historic Preservation/Architectural Review Board reviews development proposals vor visual compatibility and advises the City Commission on the Criteria for Certification as Appropriate.

Anyone interested in serving on this Board, please submit a resume to City Hall, P.O. Box 339, Cedar Key FL 32625 by February 10, 2006. If you have any questions, please direct them to the Cedar Key Building Department at 543-6043.
