ANNOUNCEMENT

City of Cedar Key

Building Department

I would like to start off by saying thank you Cedar Key for the opportunity you have given me to work in this wonderful city. I have had the chance to meet some of the citizens, who have made me feel welcome. I look forward to meeting more of you and hope I can assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have regarding building permits or City Code.

September is National Code Enforcement Month and to kick it off, the State of Florida is starting a sign campaign. The state is trying to remove all signs that are not permitted by code. Signs of all different types create an eyesore and need to be taken down. All signs not approved by the City of Cedar Key need to be taken down. If you have any questions pertaining to the sign ordinance, please feel free to contact this office by phone at (352) 543-6043 . If we all do our part, we can keep the City of Cedar Key a beautiful place to hang our hats.

Again if there are any questions that you may have regarding the Building code or City Ordinances, please feel free to contact or stop by the City Hall we will be glad to assist in any way we can.
