Minutes Called to order by Mayor Oliver. Meeting was called to order at 10:20 a.m.
Present at the meeting were Commissioners Vanessa Edmunds, Sue Colson, Pat O'Neal, Heath Davis, and Mayor Paul Oliver. Also present were Skip Kholmeyer, Esq., Legal Counsel. Vanessa Edmunds announced that she had met with representatives from the County yesterday, December 19, 2006; they were pleased with the results of the meeting, and were planning to move forward. The Commission heard a request from its special legal counsel to meet in closed attorney-client session for the purpose of receiving advice on pending litigation.
A Court reporter was present at the closed session.
Called to reconvene
Sole issue is to whether to appeal judgment of the court in favor of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Buck. Pat O'Neal moved to not appeal the decision, with a second by Vanessa Edmunds.
Vote Roll call by Mayor Oliver: Vanessa Edmunds: Yes; Pat O'Neal: Yes; Sue Coslon: Yes; Paul Oliver Yes.
With reluctance, the motion carried. Pat O'Neal made a motion to adjourn, Sue Colson 2nd meeting was adjourned at 11:15 a.m. ATTEST:
