NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE ENACTMENT


Notice of proposed ordinance enactment on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at 7 p.m., in the City Hall at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida, the City Commission of Cedar Key shall hold a PUBLIC HEARING to consider SECOND and FINAL reading of an ordinance entitled:


ORDINANCE NUMBER 426


AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CEDAR KEY, LEVY COUNTY
FLORIDA PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT OF
THE LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS,
CHAPTER FOUR, LAWS OF CEDAR KEY, TO
CLARIFY THE METHOD OF MEASUREMENT
OF BUILDING HEIGHT WHEN ENFORCING
THE CITY'S HEIGHT LIMITATION, TO CLARIFY
THE METHOD OF MEASUREMENT OF BUILDING
AREA WHEN ENFORCING THE LIMITATION ON
FLOOR AREA RATIO, AND TO CLARIFY THAT
ONLY IMPERVIOUS SURFACES ARE MEASURED
WHEN ENFORCING THE LIMITATION ON
IMPERVIOUS SURFACE RATIO; MODIFYING
THE METHOD OF CALCULATION OF THE
IMPERVIOUS SURFACE RATIO ON HISTORIC
SITES; AND MODIFYING THE IMPERVIOUS
SURFACE RATIO APPLICABLE TO HISTORIC
SITES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE




If any person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at said PUBLIC HEARING, he/she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
