Notice of proposed ordinance enactment on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at
7 p.m., in the City Hall at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida, the City
Commission of Cedar Key shall hold a PUBLIC HEARING to consider
SECOND and FINAL reading of an ordinance entitled:


ORDINANCE NUMBER 421

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CEDAR KEY, LEVY COUNTY
FLORIDA; REVISING NOISE ORDINANCE;
CLARIFYING HOW ACOUSTICAL TERMS
DEFINED; CLARIFYING STANDARDS FOR
SOUND LEVEL MEASURING EQUIPMENT;
PROHIBITING NOISE THAT UNREASONABLY
INTERFERES WITH ENJOYMENT OF LIFE
AND PROPERTY; ALLOWING POLICE
OFFICERS TO INITIATE ENFORCEMENT
PROCEEDINGS; CHANGING TIMEFRAME
FROM 90 DAYS TO 30 DAYS IN WHICH A
SECOND VIOLATION NEED NOT BE PRO-
CEEDED BY A WARNING; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

If any person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at said PUBLIC HEARING, he/she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
