Notice of Proposed Ordinance Enactment | Notice of Proposed Ordinance EnactmentCity Documents NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE ENACTMENT Notice of proposed ordinance enactment on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at 6:30 p.m., in the City Hall at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida, the City Commission of Cedar Key shall hold a PUBLIC HEARING to consider an Emergency Ordinance entitled ORDINANCE NUMBER 433 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CEDAR KEY, LEVY COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDING ARTICLE V, CHAPTER II LAWS OF CEDAR KEY; INCREASING THE ADDITIONAL HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION FOR HOME OWNERS 65 YEARS AND OLDER THAT MEET THE APPLICABLE INCOME LIMITA- TION FROM $25,000 TO $50,000; CLARIFYING THAT THE $20,000 INCOME LIMITATION IS ADJUSTED ANNUALLY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. If any person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at said PUBLIC HEARING, he/she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. 5/17/2007 |
