City Seeks Landscape Maintenance Bids

INVITATION TO BID


The City of Cedar Key, Florida is receiving sealed bids for:

Landscape Maintenance to Include:

Weekly mowing and litter clean up around City Hall, Fire Station, Second Street and the Marina.
All other areas by-monthly

Maintenance schedule will include the following:
Weeding
Edging sidewalks and beds
Trimming of shrubs and trees up to 10ft.
Cleanup sidewalks, etc.

Requirements:
Provide proof of current workers compensation coverage.
Provide proof of current liability insurance (as code requires) with endorsement naming the City of Cedar Key as "additional insured."
Hold a current business tax receipt with the City of Cedar Key.

A map of designated areas may be inspected at City Hall in Cedar Key, during regular business hours. The bids must be marked LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SEALED BID and received no later than, Monday, September 29, 2008 at 3 p.m. Mail bids to City of Cedar Key, P.O. Box 339, Cedar Key, Florida, 32625 or bring it to the Clerk`s Office in the City Hall at 490 Second Street. BIDS WILL BE OPENED AND READ MONDAY, SEPTEMBER, 29 AT 3 p.m. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THE CITY OF CEDAR KEY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS.
