January 1885 - Mr. J.S. McDonell who had been employed by the Board to retake the Census of the school children of the county, filed his list showing 2440 names and a warrant for $73.32 was ordered to be issued to him for his services.

June 1896 - T.W. Shands filed a bond in the sum of $1,000.00 with W.J. Eppenson and J.M. Stewart to keep and maintain a Ferry across the Suwannee River at Fannin Springs, in Levy County, Florida. The bond was accepted and the board ordered the Clerk of Court to issue a license to Mr. Shands.
