110 years ago - From the Levy County Criminal Docket Book 1896-1901.

State of Florida vs Mr. Lewis for Disturbing Worship of God. On this 4th day of June AD 1895, the defendant was brought into court by the Sheriff and plead guilty. The defendant shall pay a fine of five dollars and the cost of this case and in failure to do so shall stand committed for 30 days.
