12 February 1861 - The Governor of Florida approved a bill passed by the House of Representatives on 20 January 1861 and the Senate on 05 February 1861 to locate the County Site of Levy County. It was enacted that an election be held on the first Monday in May and each voter shall write the name of the place by him desired for a county site on a ticket. When the votes are canvassed, the Judge of Probate shall cause the result of the election to be published in the Telegraph, a newspaper published at Cedar Key. The place receiving the greatest number of votes shall be declared the county site of Levy County.

06 October 1884 - John Savarese, a resident of Levy County, appeared before Clerk of Court, J.M. Barco and filed his intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to the King of Italy, of which he is a subject.

21 July 1927 - Charlie N. Rawls entered into a lease agreement with Mrs. George Hornsby (Ola) and Morris Cannon, co-partners, for the lease of one certain restaurant and eating house known as "Sunshine Restaurant" located on Noble Avenue in the Town of Williston. The yearly rent was $720.00 which included the following furniture: 8 counter stools; 12 chairs; 4 dining tables; 1 water cooler; 1 pastry cabinet; 3 electric fans; 1 cash register; 1 - 2 burner oil stove; 1 - 4 burner oil stove; 3 cook tables; 3 - 5 gallon oil cans; 1 meat block; 1 meat saw; 1 zink tub; 2 lard tubs; 1 stove oven; cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, silverware, 2 small mirrors, 1 coffee urn, 1 refrigerator, and 1 doughnut cover.
