Sheriff`s Corner

Seasons Greetings everyone and welcome to the Sheriff's Corner. This Corner will be the last Corner for 2003, for those of you who get your papers on Wednesday. It is also the first Corner of 2004, for those of you who get your papers on Thursday.

I'd like to use this Corner to do several things. The first is to thank all of you who have contacted me this past year with comments or requests for and about the Sheriff's Corner. I hope you'll continue to let me know your thoughts.

Next I want to thank the very special men and women who make up your Sheriff's Office. The corrections officers, patrol deputies, school resource officers, and investigators, support personnel and staff. Thank you. Your dedication is so important in making this office run properly. Your commitment to the people of Levy County is strong and very appreciated. I thank you all so much for all that you guys do.

Lastly, I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you all that our focus will continue to be on you the people of Levy County. I pledge all of our efforts to make your Sheriff's Office the best it can be. We will always answer your needs. So please, if you need us don't hesitate to call. As always, if you have a question, contact me and I'll make sure you get the right answer.
