Two pie prospectors just before the auction pondering which pies they will bid on.

Pies, pies, cherry, lemon and chicken pot pies. The annual pie sale sponsored by the Cedar Key High School Junior Class had a wide selection of pies. Buz Healy, perennial pie auctioneer, fielded bids with humor and skill. He sold eighty-five pies, with the highest price coming to $65. By the end of the evening the cashier collected $1813.
