Art Auctioned in Fund Raiser

A capacity crowd turned out for the 2007 Cedar Key Arts Center Art Auction. More than $4500 was raised from a silent auction followed by a live and lively auction of approximately seventy pieces of art donated by the artists themselves or people who support the Arts Center.

Colin Dale, assisting the auctioneer by displaying a sculpture contributed by local artist Mike Leiner.

The funds raised at the March 4 auction will be used to complete the Art Center`s new sculpture garden and other current project such as the children`s art programs.
