The Natural Experience Gallery to Close

The Natural Experience Gallery to Close

By Nancy Duden

The Natural Experience: A Wood and Clay Gallery, owned/operated by Nancy and Don Duden opened April 12, 1997 and after ten successful years will close permanently April 23, 2007. Nancy and Don would like to thank the Cedar Key community for making their ten years as shop owners rewarding and fun – they really enjoyed and appreciated their friends coming by to visit and bringing their guests to see the gallery.

Nancy and Don are looking forward to retiring, moving to Tallahassee, Florida, enjoying beautiful Florida in the Fall/Winter and the North Carolina Mountains in the Spring/Summer. They are looking forward to building a home in Tallahassee, visiting/playing with their children/grandchildren, and traveling. They will continue to enjoy making their art, but will have their work in other galleries. Bodiford's of Cedar Key will continue their presence in Cedar Key by carrying their work.

Don and Nancy were both born in Cedar Key, lived in Tallahassee 32 years and returned to the island, 13 years ago. They have confirmed that they plan to sell their gallery building once they have completed their home in Tallahassee. Their address will remain in Cedar Key until their home is completed.
