The Cedar Key Lions Club presented a check for $10,000 to the playground fund for Cedar Key Elementary School. The check was accepted by Sue Ice, Principal of Cedar Key School, and Sue Penney, Playground Chairperson. This donation represents a substantial portion of the funds needed to complete the playground project, which is designed to upgrade the playground as well as enhance the children`s outdoor experiences by providing exercise and fitness opportunities.
