Services Scheduled for Katherine Rucker

Services for Katherine "Kitty" Rucker, who passed away on February 2, 2004 in Altamont Springs, have been scheduled for Friday, February 6th. Graveside services will be conducted at the Cedar Key Cemetery officiated by Reverend Barry Andrews.

Mrs. Rucker was born June 12, 1908 in Blackburg Virginia. She moved to Cedar Key in 1973 from Barnesville, Georgia. She was a homemaker, a member of the Cedar Key Woman's Club, and a Charter Member of the Cedar Key Historical Society.

She is survived by her sons, William A. Rucker and his wife Nickie of Winter Springs, Florida, and Michael P. Rucker and his wife Harriet of Peoria, Illinois. She had six grand children and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Cowles Rucker, Jr. who died in 1982, and a son Henry Cowles Rucker III in 2001.
