OBITUARY NOTICE
CLAXTON: Joel R. Beck, 66, died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at his sons residence in Claxton. The Illinois native retired from the U.S. Navy after 32 years of service.
SURVIVORS: one son: Joel Beck, Jr.; two daughters: Jeanne A. and John W. Craig, III of Goose Creek, S.C. and Juanita Beck; one step-son: James C. and Janet S. Pointer, III of Claxton; four grandchildren: John W. Craig, IV, Janice Renee Craig both of Goose Creek, S.C., Debbie Blocker and Genie Denise Pointer of Claxton; two great-grandchildren: James Arron Blocker and Jacob Mathew Blocker of Claxton.
