Mildred Yearty Hodges, of Cedar Key, died August 12. Mrs. Hodges was ninety-two years of age. She is survived by her husband of seventy-two years, former State Senator Randolph Hodges and her three children, Gene Hodges, Nancy Hodges Duden and Hal Hodges. She is also survived by her sister Marie Johnson, six grand children and ten greatgrand children. Mrs. Hodges was a teacher and bookkeeper for her family`s business. She was a member of the Cedar Key United Methodist Church, the Cedar Key Womens Club, the Cedar Key Hiostorical Society and the United Daugters of the Confederacy. Services were held August 13 at the Cedar Key Methodist Church, with Rev. Gene Zimmerman, Pastor Christopher Martin and Pastor James Howes officiating. |
