Robert "Mason" Long of Cedar Key died Saturday, March 10. He was 60 years old. Mr. Long was a Pharmacist for Walgreens. He was an avid fan and graduate of the University of Tennessee and the University of Florida Pharmacy School. He was a member of the Lions Club, Eagles Club, and he enjoyed fishing and golf. He was Episcopalian. Mr. Long is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jeanmarie Long, Cedar Key; children Christopher and Stacy Long, Ringgold, GA; Derek and Melissa Long, Ooltewah, TN; Adelaine Long, James Mason Long, Brent Hughes and Crystal Thompson, all of Cedar Key; a brother, George P. Long, Clarksville, TN; several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Adelaide Wise. Memorial services for Mr. Long will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Cedar Key. Arrangements are under the direction of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services in Chiefland. |
