Cedar Key resident Marlene M. Gifford died July 15th, 2008. Marlene and her husband Walt semi-retired in Cedar Key several years ago. She was a loving wife and mother and a trusted friend to many. She leaves her husband, Walt, and three adult children. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 26th at the Parish Hall of Christ Episcopal Church in Cedar Key, located at the corner of 5th Street and St. Hwy. 24.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Family and friends are all welcome Her family has requested that no flowers be sent to the home. Instead, those wishing to make a donation to cover the costs of her final arrangements may do so, with any remaining funds going to Haven Hospice in Chiefland. |
