Vaughn Judge "Jud" Quinn

Obituary

Vaughn Judge "Jud" Quinn, Jr., passed away at his home in Augusta, GA, on Wednesday, January 19, 2011. He was 44 years old. He was born in Oklahoma to Vaughn Judge Quinn, Sr., and his wife Louise on November 7, 1966. He attended the Academy of Richmond County in Augusta, GA, a school which was founded as a military academy in 1783, was utilized by the Confederate Army during the Civil War, became a public school and has continually operated in Augusta since its inception.

Jud showed great artistic talent from the time he was a small child and grew into a reputable artist in Augusta. He was a loving father and friend. Through his kind heart and humor he touched many people, who now mourn the loss of a true friend.

He is survived by two sons, Vincent Quinn and Vaughn Judge "Jay" Quinn III of Cedar Key; step-children, Angelika "Jelly" Bodie and Daniel Smith of Augusta, GA; and a host of beloved friends. Jud became a Christian shortly before his death, and he will be missed by his church family.

A memorial service was held at The Building Worship Center in Augusta, GA on Wednesday, January 26, 2011.
