Obituary

Ellen L. Piechocki, 69, of Trenton passed away Sept. 30., at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Batavia, NY on Aug. 9, 1942. Mrs. Piechocki was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Chiefland and the Catholic Daughters of America in New York. She retired from the personnel department at Chiefland WalMart. As a member of Gainesville Sunshine Clowns, she was able to bring smiles to the residents of area nursing homes and to sick children. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. She loved meeting new people and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard "Sonny" Piechocki of Trenton, daughters Amy (Mike) Townsend of Alexander, NY, Paula Radesi of Victor, NY, son Len (Colleen) Piechocki, III of Wake Forest, NC, sisters Edith Wehner and Peg (Fred) Lorenz, both of Inverness and her grandchildren, Landen McCormick of Alexander, NY, Brant Arnold of Oakfield, NY, Danielle Piechocki, Racquel Piechocki, and Mitchell Piechocki, all of Wake Forest, NC, Gina Radesi of Buffalo, NY, Nikki Radesi of NYC, NY, Nathan Radesiof Buffalo, NY, and 2 great grandchildren, Bella and Mia Filjones of Buffalo, NY.

She is preceded in death by her son in law, Naishe Radesi.

Funeral mass will be held Sunday, Oct 2, 2011 at 3:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Chiefland with Father Joe McDonnell officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hardeetown Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Sat. Oct 1, 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
