James Milton Davis

Obituary

James Milton Davis, age 83, passed away January 31, 2012 at his residence in Bronson. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from the United States Navy. He lived in East Orlando and then moved to Bronson 11 years ago.


He worked as a supervisor for the State of Florida Department of Transportation for many years. He was a life member of the VFW, member of the Elks Club in Gainesville, the Suwannee Valley Antique Car Club, and the American Legion. He enjoyed restoring old cars and was a great handyman.


He is survived by his wife of 52 years; Bradie Davis, his sons; James N. Wilson of Orlando and B. Earl Wilson of N.C. , his daughter; Jeanette King of Bronson, his brother; Louis Robert Davis, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son; Charles H. Wilson.


Arrangements are under the direction of Knauff Funeral Home in Williston (352)528-3481.
