FWC Plans Two Library Presentations

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission plans two upcoming talks on topics relative to the natural environment of the Cedar Key area.

On Thursday February 26 at 5pm in the Cedar Key Library upstairs meeting room, Missy Jackson will give a presentation titled "Let`s Dish About Fish: Spotted Seatrout." Information will be presented on research and monitoring by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)and will include life history, management, and angling tips.

On Thursday March 12 at 5 pm at Library, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (DACS)will give the presentation:

"Florida`s Big Bend Gulf Coast District Shellfish Harvesting Areas"

Who, what, when, where and how does the State of Florida manage the areas that produce more farm raised clams than most anywhere in the United States.
