CEDAR KEY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON RATE RESOLUTION

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Cedar Key Water and Sewer District will hold a public hearing on Resolution 2012-02, the title of which is as follows:





RESOLUTION 2012-02

A RESOLUTION OF THE CEDAR KEY WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT AMENDING RATES FOR WATER AND SEWER CHARGES; INCREASING WATER RATES BY TEN PERCENT; INCREASING SEWER RATES BY FIVE PERCENT; AMENDING FEES CHARGED FOR AN ADDITIONAL METER; PROVIDING INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CODIFIER; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.


The public hearing will be held on September 18, 2012, at 5:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the District offices, 510 Third Street, Cedar Key, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed resolution.


The Resolution will be available for inspection at the District offices located at 510 Third Street, Cedar Key, Florida.

All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above- referenced public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
