It`s that time of year when the Chamber of Commerce decorates the big cedar tree in City Park. We will be working on the tree this Weds and Thursday afternoon. If you have an hour or two to help please meet either afternoon between 1 and 5 pm. Also this year we hope to decorate the tree with styrofoam crab trap floats. So if anyone has some of these or any other nautical items laying around and would donate them for this project please bring them to the chamber. Any condition will be appreciated. On Friday, November 23rd, before the lighting of the tree, take your dog for a stroll during the 2nd Annual Dog Parade through the Streets of Cedar Key. Great photo opportunities and great fun Meet at the Park at 4:30. The annual tree lighting ceremony will be held at 7 pm. We are also challenging our members and visitors to decorate their golf carts to participate in the first "electrifying Merry Christmas Golf Cart Parade" immediately following the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
