Florida`s Eden and Bev Ringenberg at the Arts Center Opening December 1

ANNOUNCEMENT

Florida`s Eden curated this exhibit "Florida`s Eden: Visions for the Region" which opens Saturday, December 1st from 4-6 pm at the Cedar Key Arts Center in Cedar Key. The show features the work of sixteen regional artists in media spanning photography, painting, and craft.

Jacqui Collett, exhibition curator for Florida`s Eden carefully selected pieces that depict and represent the Region`s stunning natural and cultural assets.

Florida`s Eden has a long and rewarding history of working with local leaders to portray Cedar Key
as an arts community, a conservation pioneer and a heritage tourism destination. Through the power of the visual arts-this exhibit showcases our north Florida`s Eden region and celebrates Cedar Key`s accomplishments.

"People have always been drawn here for the same three reasons: to explore the breath taking, natural environs, to inspire their creativity and to restore the their health and spiritual well being," explains Annie Pais executive director Florida`s Eden.

"We know we live in a remarkable place and share efforts with a large creative population to preserve the very natural and cultural assets that define it and us. We realize that our future economic success is interwoven with the health of our environment.

Cedar Key is an exemplary community - demonstrating what can happen when the entire population of a town decides to follow a common vision to model conservation efforts for a healthy environment.

We encourage everyone to come and see the results which include solar, green building, a green marina, aquaculture, recycling, local culinary, art, heritage story telling, and more!

This is both creative community development and aware tourism at its very best. Let`s visit and support their worthy efforts."
