Meet the Pirates

Submitted by CKPP Correspondent

In the coming weeks the Cedar Key Pirates in Paradise will introduce some of the pirates and pirate groups that will be invading our town September 13-15, 2013 for the Cedar Key Pirate Invasion Weekend. We will start off with a group coming from Georgia.

The Pirates BlackHart are a pirate family of three from Warner Robbins, Georgia. Dungeon Dan, Kruel Kathy and Lady Lindsey Lee participate with pirate crews in their home state and here in Florida. The BlackHarts are members of the Atlanta Pirate & Wenches Guild, The Cursed Few, and the Cutthroat Titans in Georgia. The busy pirate family are also members of Thee Leviathan Crew on the East Coast of Florida.

They can be found together most weekends participating in pirate festivals, parades and renaissance fairs all over the southeast. The BlackHarts also attend pirate summer camps for children where they speak on 18th century pirate history. Look for Dungeon Dan, Kruel Kathy, and Lady Lindsey Lee when they sail into town for our inaugural Cedar Key Pirate Invasion Weekend.
