Florida’s Nature Coast Conservancy Offers Hot Dogs, Hamburgers in the Courtyard

Submitted by Gerald Salamon, Cedar Key

January 26, 2013 - The annual meeting of Florida`s Nature Coast Conservancy (FNCC), a Cedar Key-based land trust, will be held on Sunday, February 24, 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Island Hotel.

The FNCC will provide grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, a variety of side dishes, soft drinks as well as beer and wine. The meeting is open to all members and anyone considering membership.

The FNCC was organized in 1992 by Cedar Key conservationists, with the goal of maintaining the natural wildness of our beautiful Gulf coast. The FNCC owns some land locally, which it holds for the public in perpetuity, and helps maintain the railroad trestle trail in Cedar Key.

The FNCC is actively seeking new members. Annual individual memberships are $15 and family memberships are $25. Anyone interested in learning more about becoming a member of FNCC should come to our annual meeting and/or go to the FNCC website, www.floridasnaturecoastconservancy.org (or click the image below).
