Notice of proposed ordinance enactment on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at 7 p.m., in the City Hall at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida, the City Commission of Cedar Key shall hold a PUBLIC HEARING to consider Second and Final reading of an ordinance entitled: ORDINANCE NUMBER 400 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CEDAR KEY, LEVY COUNTY, FLORIDA;
ADDING A NEW SECTION 6.08.04 TO ARTICLE VI, CHAPTER 4
TO LIMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW MARINAS TO PROTECT SHELLFISH HARVESTING AREAS; AMENDING
SECTION 7.02.05, ARTICLE VII, CHAPTER 4 TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF SLIPS ALLOWED AT ALL NEW DOCKS TO TEN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance may be inspected by the general public during regular office
hours at the Clerk's Office at 490 Second Street, Cedar Key, Florida. If any person decides to appeal the decision of the City Commission with
respect to any matter considered at said PUBLIC HEARING, he/she will need
to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which includes the
