New Year`s Resolution

New Year`s Resolution

Editorial

Here is a New Year`s resolution that anyone able to read this editorial should make.

Resolved: Each day I will stop at least once to enjoy the natural beauty of our surroundings.

From sunrise to sunset, and even in moonlight or starlight, we are surrounded by so much natural beauty that we are in danger of taking it for granted. Look for the White Pelicans in winter and Spoonbills in summer. Don`t overlook the ground doves and the seagulls that have claimed the County Dock. Appreciate the mist over the marsh in the morning. Savor the colors of the sunset. Take a second look at our architectural heritage as you pass by. Do this each day and your life will be enriched.
