We have had an eventful year, some good and some bad. Here are our awards, as seen by the Editorial Board of Cedar Key News.

UP: Cedar Key School receive an A grade.

DOWN: Two Levy County Commissioners found guilty of accepting bribes.

UP: Good weather in Cedar Key for the year (no hurricanes or damaging tropical storms).

DOWN: Florida DOT falsely saying Cedar Key bridges will be fixed.

UP: Cedar Key`s recycling program that saves money and the environment.

UP: The Chamber of Commerce efforts to bring business to Cedar Key.

DOWN: Federal officials blindsiding Gulf oystermen with closure regulations.

UP: Lower property taxes for many taxpayers.

DOWN: The moron(s) who dumped gallons of grease into the Cedar Key sewer.

UP: Graceful transition of Dock Street to ONE WAY.

BONUS: Tony`s Cedar Key Clam Chowder wins world championship.
