31 October 1845 - At an election held in Levy County, the following persons were elected to the Board of County Commissioners for a two year term: Enoch Daniels, John Watson, Thomas Weeks, and William Pennington. On 10 December 1847, the following persons were elected to the Board: Joseph S. Gill, E.A. Weeks, Thomas Weeks, and Joseph Wilkinson. On 17 October 1849, the voters put the following persons into office: J.R. Hatchet, Isaac Highsmith, James C. Barco, Joseph Wilkinson.

04 November 1901 - The Levy County Board of County Commissioners at their regularly scheduled meeting ordered the Sheriff to keep the windows of the Circuit Courtroom closed at night and at all times when the room is not in use,
that the door of said room be kept locked at all times when the room is not in use, and further ordered that the Sheriff allow no person to occupy the Court room at night except in Court time.

12 October 1950 - John W. Andrews, Cedar Key, received a Bachelor of Arts degree this weekend at Emory University. Andrews is the son of Dr. and Mrs. D.A. Andrews of Cedar Key. He is a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, historian for Epsilon Delta, and a member of the Campus Club. The student majored in biology.
