Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor -

This is the first time I`ve written you in my 27th winter of coming back "down home" in Cedar Key. What a great addition to CK - your up to date news! And I should like to report a most unusual birthday party on Sat., Jan. 24th.

McGregor, a little brown Beagle, had his eighth birthday party on Palmetto Dr. given by Jane Moore and Glynn Warwick. It was a great Doggie Party with all his
neighbor friends and his pals invited. Even a few of us who didn`t have a dog got invited. About eighteen or more plus their favorite canines all cheering the honored guest, McGregor. Fun was had by all. Several "doggie" games
and contests were held, including wearing their party hats - on straight or backwards even around the neck. Prizes were given for, the dog that kept his plastic glasses on the longest, nicest personality, who came the farthest, etc. McGregor`s special birthday cake of chicken and peanut butter pie was served to all his friends on individual plates. And to his people friends Hot Dogs were served. An hilarious barking good time was had by all.

Attached are two photos that can better describe this party.
